In September I was in Bangkok for a conference, and arrived the weekend beforehand. This meant I had an entire Sunday to discover somewhere new, and so I decided to spend my day at the Muang Boran Museum, where historic Thailand is brought to life with both authentic and reproduced buildings and landscapes, as well as some fun and creative new, modern interpretations. It was about 1000°C outside, sweaty and hot and gross, but nonetheless an amazing day wandering around this huge outdoor museum.
