Having a brief work trip to Helsinki in November, I had a wonderful afternoon and evening to experience for my first time some of the city’s rich art nouveau treasures. Apparently, Helsinki has over 600 such buildings (that’s more than Brussels and more than Barcelona!), so I guess I have a lot more exploring to do.

I also made sure to try out a little Finnish Christmas, seeing the lights, the Moomin decorations, and trying a glögi.
