Back in Thailand for work and that means another week of incredible food, night markets, and a couple hours of exploration. This time around I tried to take full advantage of the few hours that I had to myself.
The Grand Palace
The Grand Palace is a former residence to King Rama I – King Rama V, and is now used to host royal ceremonies and guests. The place is huge, and busy, and the morning I went it was literally 100ºF and crazy crowded. Maybe its always like that, I don’t know. Despite the chaotic atmosphere, the palace awes you with gilded grandeur and opulence.

Wat Pho, the Temple of the Reclining Buddha
This place is really beautiful. The Buddha is so big, its actually tricky to take a photo capturing the entire body. If you could climb up and view it from above I bet it’d be amazing. Buddha was getting a pedicure the day I was visiting :).
